New EPA Regulations Poised To Hike Energy Costs

WASHINGTON --
"More than 32 mostly coal-fired power plants in a dozen states will be forced to shut down and an additional 36 might have to close because of new federal air pollution regulations, according to an Associated Press survey.

"Those plants, some of the oldest and dirtiest in the country, produce enough electricity for more than 22 million households, the AP survey found. Their demise probably won't cause homes to go dark, however."

On October 30, 2008, Obama told a large crowd of cheering supporters: "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America."

While we're at it...let's shut down the 32 dirtiest EPA offices and perhaps the 32 dirtiest politicians.
